How do I choose the best database for my major or topic?
Answer
Different databases focus on different subjects.
- Use the library’s “Databases by Subject” drop-down
- Try using keywords associated with your subject.
- Look at the recommended resources for your course or major
- Ask a subject librarian for guidance—they can suggest the most relevant databases and search strategies
